While I don’t eat meat, my family does. So of course I want to make sure that the meat they do eat is natural ad healthy. I was more than happy to let them try Harvestland chicken!

All Harvestland chickens, turkeys, and pigs are raised on family farms with very strict USDA Process Verified programs, which ensures that the chickens are fed all-vegetarian diets with no animal by-products, raised cage-free, and are never given any antibiotics, ever. Harvestland also offers USDA-certified organic chicken. These chickens are raised without antibiotics on free-range, organic farms and are fed an all- vegetarian diet of certified organic ingredients.
My husband picked up some of the ground chicken to try. He used it to make tacos, and was really impressed with the taste. I like that they support local farmers to get their products. He is looking forward to trying more of their products – we just wish that our local Publix carried their products! We’ve put in a request, so we’ll see what happens. Currently, only Walmart carries the Heartland products and he was only able to find the ground chicken – he’d like to try more items!
The HARVESTLAND® product line includes fresh chicken, turkey, and pork products, as well as a variety of fully-cooked refrigerated, frozen, and deli meats. Prices vary based on the retailer. Check them out on twitter and facebook!
One of my US readers can win TWO $5 off coupons – one coupon was more than enough to cover the pack of ground chicken my husband bought. Also, you can all head over here – there was a $1 off coupon when I wrote this!
