It may not be cold here yet, (although that should change this week), but it’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We had a full weekend of removing the remaining items out of our old house because we have a renter moving in next weekend (yeah), but we still managed to catch THREE Christmas parades this weekend.
On Friday, we headed to the floating boat parade. It was super-windy, which slowed things down a lot, but all of the children had a great time running around on the beach and playing with glowsticks while they were waiting. Watching the floating decorated boats was pretty fun.
Saturday night we watched the big parade in town. For the first time ever, we got to watch from one of the balconies. It was so much fun! Little Miss had a lot of children to play with, and we all had a wonderful time.
On Sunday they had a small parade out on the beach. We rode our bikes to that one, and even though it was small it was so much fun – especially for Little Miss. People walked right to her to wish her a Merry Christmas and give her beads or toys. She even got a hula hoop!
After the parade we headed out to listen to some music and people watch. Little Miss got to watch this cool boat come in, and she also made a new friend!
The owner had owned this parrot for over seven years – it was an amazing bird!
What did you do this weekend?
